Anima means in latin Soul and Pixella is a word coming from pixel, it's intented to be something like Pixelled Soul. AP was lauched November 14 '02, Re-launched on March 28 '04 and Revamp on July 08 '08!...that was a long hiatus!

v.5 Take it or Leave it featuring Yotsubato and the title from The Strokes's song. Made it with Dreamweaver MX, image managed with PS7. Tested latest versions of IE, Mozilla & Opera -which mess layout a bit-.

:»  Wallpapers
I've been walling about 6 years, I got amazed by too many great wallers from times when working with Tech FX and 3d programs was the hottest thing or the so called Old School was on the spotlight *grabs cane*

I'm not really into this new fashion of scenic or landscape wall. Yeah, you must be extremely skillful to actually achieve something either realistic or fitting to the main image, but for some unknown reason this style does not appeal to me. [Or maybe it's the fact that I keep drawing objects and scenes in perspective all the time at Uni, making any interest of keep doing the same I've as homework fade away while walling ...]

Taking in mind that I could brag more about knowing how to use photoshop rather than design well, I try to give a different view to walling now. The main point is showcase Mangaka/Illustrator's artwork with something that in the end help decorating (mine) & your desktop! And besides...I still having a lots of fandoms (or people & things) to ship so, working on stuff I like is another colateral damage advantage, I get by walling hahaha.

Well as been said I'm a total magazine junkie and I know is not something to be so proud since I'm a former shopaholic girl XP but I guess that fashion/design magazines* are like my source of inspiration for my main interests: editorial design, fashion design, photography, collages, industrial design, architecture, illustrations & well done graphic design XD.

Got surprissed no anime mention on it? well to me anime & manga are storytellings like any other tvshow or book, [I've a serious reading problem, got easily distracted, that's why I can read more manga than books XP].

Althought I do admire the ability of well known mangakas & artist as illustrators [Yumi Tada, Kim Hyung-Tae, Yukiru Sugisaki, CLAMP, Kouji Ogata, Tite Kubo, Keiji Gotoh]! Sadly there isn't any magazine nor publication that without being online, does promote these awesome people work, except when someone use them as illustrations by themselves...And here is when wallpapers enter in the picture.

In the process of keeping AP, I got blessed by developing more knowledge on photoshop, html coding and meeting very nice people so it has turned out to be a very fullfilling experience!

(*)BTW, I don't get depressed nor obsessed at all with not being that tall/beautiful/rich/etc person that magazines try to convince us to be. I'm more likely to be trying to figure out how it was done a pretty Marc Jacobs bag, an Armani Privé dress, some cool illustration in a fashion editorial, a super sophicticated lounge or an amazing photography cover =). Plop just to let you know XP
